Has Christmas changed colour this year?
Yes, no, maybe.
The nativity scenes, trees, stars, children’s letters and even the calendar have not changed.
Certainly the spirit has not changed, which a time like this has rendered it more authentic and closer to its original meaning.
The hardworking elves/ goblins/ gnomes have not changed and, as usual, they will help wrap all the presents that good old Santa Claus will deliver personally to everyone’s home as he always does.
Not even that incredible machine, that passes through the whole gift factory making each present even more magical at each step, has changed.
For that matter, neither has our desire to believe in fairy tales changed nor will it ever change when they are as beautiful, good and perfect as those of Christmas.
Has Christmas changed colour this year?
Yes, but it is more Christmas-y than ever.
